Wine tourism businesses increase online exposure with an ATDW listing
Australian wine producers have shared their stories in a series of videos about how keeping an Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) listing regularly updated has helped to promote their cellar door experiences and increase their online exposure on other tourism websites.

Janelle and Kristen Zerk from Z WINE discuss how the new wine-related features have helped promote their business on websites such as Barossa.com and southaustralia.com. As a free platform, it has been a vital part of their marketing plan. Watch here.

Malcolm Leask from Hither & Yon talks about the bookable experiences they’ve created on the ATDW platform. Their online reach has extended to inclusion on australia.com, southaustralia.com and fleurieupeninsula.com.au, all with one listing. Watch here.

Wine Export Label Directory
A Wine Export Label Directory will become a mandatory part of the Wine Australia Licensing and Approval System (WALAS), from 1 July 2021 to help brand owners protect their export labels against copycat activities.

From 1 June 2021, all Australian wine exporters will be required to upload copies of their labels when a packaged product that will be exported after 1 July 2021 is registered for export through WALAS.

From 10 May 2021, exporters will be able to voluntarily upload images of labels with product registrations or via the product edit process to ease the transition to the new requirements that will apply from June.

Please read the FAQs on the Wine Australia website or email exports@wineaustralia.com for more information.
