Are you a qualified winemaker or viticulturist with experience in vineyard and winegrape assessment?

Australian Grape & Wine is looking for suitably qualified individuals to join our database of Independent Experts for the Wine Industry Code of Conduct.

The database is supplied to both signatories of the Australian Wine Industry Code of Conduct and their winegrape suppliers. 

An Independent Expert must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in vineyard and winegrape assessment as well as having significant commercial experience in assessing and grading winegrapes and in contract arrangements. In the case of a dispute over price or quality assessments the role of the Independent Expert is to make a determination.  

Our commitment to expanding the list of experts is one of a number of measures to strengthen the wine industry Code of Conduct being undertaken in response to the recent study by the ACCC into the winegrape market.
